Press Release from Atlanta Patch: Beef Sold at Aldi Stores May Contain Plastic
WASHINGTON, DC — Federal health officials are warning that a raw beef product that could be contaminated with plastic, and that were sold at select Aldi stores nationwide.
The raw beef was produced July 25 and could be contaminated with "extraneous material, specifically soft, clear plastic," the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service said in a news release.
