WASHINGTON, D.C. - Tomorrow, June 28, the Subcommittee on Oversight & Investigations will convene for a virtual hearing entitled, “Where Have All the Houses Gone? Private Equity, Single Family Rentals, and America’s Neighborhoods.”

WHAT: Virtual Hearing

WHO: Subcommittee on Oversight & Investigations, chaired by Congressman Al Green (D-TX)

The hearing will have the following witnesses:

  • Jim Baker, Executive Director, Private Equity Shareholder Project
  • Shad Bogany, Agent, Better Homes and Gardens
  • Sofia Lopez, Deputy Campaign Director of Housing, Action Center on Race and the Economy
  • Elora Lee Raymond, Assistant Professor, Georgia Institute of Technology
  • Jenny Schuetz, Senior Fellow, Brookings Institute

WHEN: Tuesday, June 28 at 12:00 p.m. ET

The hearing will be livestreamed at https://financialservices.house.gov/live/.

For virtual hearings, all Members and witnesses participate remotely with no in-person participation in the hearing room.
