SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT COMMENTARY
This award, given by Sheriff Greg Countryman, celebrates those who exemplify what it means to give back to their community. They are nominated by members of the community and the winners were selected via a panel.
Each of the winners truly embody what it means to give back. They are dedicated citizens of Muscogee County who donate their time to organizations in need.
Whether it’s participating in local charities/youth groups, helping young people with tutoring or being that parental figure they need, partnering up to provide socks/clothing to those without, or just being an all-around good role model to others, they are the prime example of what it means to have a ‘servant’s heart’.
Lighting the way for a better tomorrow!
