Health Coverage for Those Under Prison/Jail Release or Supervision

President Biden signed The American Rescue Plan in March of 2021.

This program includes a provision for formerly incarcerated persons to get signed up for healthcare regardless of their release date until August 15th, 2021. 

After August 15th, you still have 60 days post release to sign up for health coverage through healthcare.gov . Also, anyone under 150% of the Federal Poverty Level qualifies for an ACA Silver Health Plan at No Cost. That means FREE!

All of the plans include No Cost Check Ups, Immunizations, Cancer screenings for men and women, and Preventive care. 

Women get No cost Annual Exams and Mammograms. 

Behavioral Health is also included in all of the plans-(Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment.)
