Born in Denver and wedged somewhere between Detroit and a small town down south called Columbus-not-Ohio, the author gives her readers a close-up look at a life spun backward by a bad divorce and a move by her mother from the integrated North to the segregated South in the mid-1960s.
ABOUT
S. Renee Greene (née Shereen Hart) moved from Columbus, Georgia to Atlanta in the early 1990s, intent on never looking back again; but life moves and transitions in mysterious ways when people belong nowhere and everywhere at the same time.
