Rihanna Not Comfortable Being Congratulated "for money"

In August, Forbes announced that Rihanna had crossed over into billionaire territory through the success of her sprawling empire, with a net worth of around $1.7 billion...

"You know, it was real weird getting congratulations texts from people for money?" Rihanna said on the red carpet of her latest Savage X Fenty show. "I never got congratulated for money before. That shit is crazy."

Edit Note: Makes one wonder how much the money spent on Rihanna products would lift people out of poverty if they could find it in them to do the same for themselves and their own families and futures. Like...every time you think about spending money on 'something Rihanna'-esque, use the same money to start a savings account to invest in a small business venture for yourself and your children.
