Columbus Loses A Community Stanchion: Deborah Whitley

Last night we lost our sister, mother, friend, grandmother, and best friend. 

Deborah fought a good, long, hard battle; she gave it her ALL (in true Deborah form)!!! But God had other plans, and though we may not like his plan we must trust in his plan! We will truly miss her kind, creative, and witty soul. Please continue to pray for her family during this difficult time.

Ms Whitley, who battled breast cancer for many years, was well-known and loved by the Neighborhood Watch Group members around the Columbus area, especially in the East Highland area. She was a retired Columbus Police Officer and Lifesaver Training Instructor.
