So How Long Did You Wait In Line for Your First Veri-Best in Years?

When Veri-Best Donuts, a local long-standing institution in Columbus since 1954, closed in 2016, a lot of people were disappointed and sad. One customer even noted that she cried. I could be mistaken, but I believe I remember a location that was on or somewhere on or near Talbotton Road before I moved to Atlanta in 1991.

Is it that serious, though? The donuts I mean...

Now that the popular donut shop has re-opened after a five-year hiatus, Columbus seems to have poured out the love for the sugary greasy-paper treats that honestly were, at one time, the "veri best."

Do they taste the same, better, or something else?
