Do you know the Civil Rights Legislations Black American ancestors fought and died for? Come learn them with us.

In 1883, the Supreme Court of the United States claimed Civil Rights Legislation 1875 was unconstitutional. Donald Trump has attempted to claim that the Civil Rights acts are "Unconstitutional," representing an existential threat to the Black communities of the USA, Columbus GA included. He has recently written an Executive Order that attempts to dismantle and divest the nation of the 14th Amendment, one which was written to declare the descendants of slaves in America free and citizens of this nation built by their ancestor's hands. The Legislation of 1865-1968 are the documents that uphold the true way that Black Americans were identified as citizens of their own ancestor's land. NOTE: The 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, ratified in 1868, is a landmark piece of legislation that significantly impacted Black people in the United States. It granted citizenship to all persons born or naturalized in the U.S., including formerly enslaved people, and guaranteed equal protection under the law, according to the National Archives. This amendment was a crucial step in the aftermath of the Civil War, addressing issues of citizenship and civil rights for Black Americans. The 13th Amendment to the U.S Constitution, by contrast, is the Legislation that "re-enslaves" and takes away the national natural rights of citizenship from anyone who is imprisoned, without specifying if or when those rights will ever be returned or restored once they have "done their time."
