The FDA has not announced a recent recall of 6.7 million eggs with the highest risk level.
However, in October 2025, Black Sheep Egg Company initiated a recall for its large Grade A brown eggs due to potential Salmonella contamination, and Kenz Henz recalled its "Pasture Raised eggs" which were supplied by Black Sheep Egg Company. These recalls are classified as having a highest risk level by the FDA. Recalled products

- Kenz Henz: "Grade AA Large Pasture Raised eggs" sold in 12-count packages in retail stores in Houston, TX. These were sourced from Black Sheep Egg Company.
