Host: The South Lumpkin Krewe

On Saturday, February 22, The South Lumpkin Krewe will host the Inaugural South Lumpkin Community Parade and Tailgate on South Lumpkin Road. 

We invite the community to come out to enjoy the parade as a family. The parade will feature floats, car and bike clubs, and performances local dance teams. The added entertainment would not be possible without the support of our local business community.

The purpose of this event is to celebrate community pride with entertainment that educates the community as a whole while celebrating diversity and culture.

The event is in conjunction with the Throw It In The Bag Community Cleanup prior to the parade. Grab your youth group, friends, and volunteers and participate in the community cleanup.

After the parade, there will be a Black History Month festival held at South Lumpkin Plaza featuring pop-up vendors from locally owned and operated businesses and other supporters of the South Lumpkin Community. The festival will also provide live entertainment with music by TBD and special guest speakers.

Our pop-up vendor list will feature a variety of products being sold, including candles, calendars, art prints, custom made cups, custom made wood products, seafood crab boils, Paparazzi jewelry, gourmet popcorn, and so much more.
